White Ball Alpine Forget-Me-Not (Myosotis alpestris 'White Ball') is a shade-loving perennial with clusters of small white flowers that bloom in late spring to early summer. It thrives in partial to full shade and consistently moist, well-drained soil, and self-seeds to return year after year. Sow on the soil surface without covering, as seeds need light to germinate; start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost or sow directly in early spring or late fall. Germination takes 14-21 days at 65-70°F.
