How to grow Splendor Mix Brachyscome seeds

Choose Your Planting Method

• Indoors: Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date.
• Outdoors: Sow directly outdoors after all danger of frost has passed.

Prepare Your Materials

• Seed-starting trays or pots (if indoors)
• Well-draining potting mix
• Humidity dome or plastic wrap
• Spray bottle for misting

Sowing the Seeds

• Sow on the surface of moist seed-starting mix; do not cover, as the seeds need light to germinate.
• Mist lightly to keep the surface evenly moist without dislodging the fine seeds.

Provide the Right Conditions

• Light: Bright light; do not exclude light during germination.
• Temperature: 64-70°F (18-21°C) for germination.
• Humidity: Cover with a dome or plastic wrap until seeds sprout.

Germination

• Seeds typically germinate in 10-21 days.
• Remove the cover once seedlings emerge and grow on in bright light.

Transplanting

• Transplant after all danger of frost has passed.
• Harden off gradually over 7-10 days before planting out.
• Space plants 9-12 inches apart.

Care Tips

• Sun: Full sun to partial shade.
• Water: Keep evenly moist; plants dislike waterlogged soil.
• Pinch out the growing tips of young plants to encourage bushier growth.
• Trim after a full flush of blooms to encourage continued flowering.

Bloom Time:

Summer through fall.
