Creeping Thyme (Thymus serpyllum) is a low, mat-forming perennial grown as a fragrant ground cover and a culinary herb. Its tiny aromatic leaves flavor teas and dishes, and in summer the mats are covered in pink to purple flowers. It is a natural fit for pathways, rock gardens, and between stepping stones. This packet contains 20 seeds.

Growing Instructions
- When to Plant: Start indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost, or sow directly outdoors in spring once the soil has warmed.
- Soil: Well-drained, sandy or loamy soil; thyme dislikes wet, heavy ground.
- Sunlight: Full sun, at least 6 hours daily.
- Watering: Keep the seedbed moist until germination; once established, water only when the soil dries out.
- Spacing: Space plants 6–12 in (15–30 cm) apart to let the mats knit together.
- Germination: Scatter the tiny seeds on the soil surface and press in lightly — do not cover, as they need light. Keep at 65–75°F (18–24°C); sprouts appear in 14–21 days.
- Harvest: Snip leaves and flowering stems as needed for culinary use; regular picking keeps plants tidy.
- Tips: Shear plants back lightly after flowering to maintain a dense, compact mat.
