Catmint (Nepeta spp.) is a long-blooming perennial grown for its tidy mounds of fragrant gray-green foliage and spikes of lavender-blue flowers that bloom for months. It makes an easy, low-maintenance edging for walkways and borders, and the leaves can be dried for tea. This packet contains 20 seeds.

Growing Instructions
- When to Plant: Start indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost, or sow directly outdoors after frost danger has passed.
- Soil: Average, well-draining soil; catmint is not fussy about fertility.
- Sunlight: Full sun to partial shade.
- Watering: Water young plants about an inch per week; established plants tolerate dry conditions and need little extra water.
- Spacing: Space or thin plants to 12–18 in (30–45 cm) apart.
- Germination: Sow about 1/8 in deep and keep the soil lightly moist. Seedlings typically emerge in 7–20 days.
- Harvest: Snip leafy stems as needed for tea or fresh use; cut flower spikes for bouquets.
- Tips: Shear the plant back by about two-thirds after the first flush of flowers to encourage fresh foliage and a second bloom.
