Juliet - The Most Expensive Rose in History

Juliet is known by the nickname "million-dollar rose," as Mr. David Austin spent around 3 million British pounds (approximately 5 million USD) on the entire breeding process. After 15 years of development, Juliet was successfully created and has since been loved by many.

With such costs and time invested, Juliet remains the most expensive rose in history to date. Juliet roses produce large flowers, approximately 9-12 cm in diameter, with uniquely arranged petals. The center consists of skirt-like petals stacked on top of each other, with wavy edges that are eye-catching. These are surrounded by outer petals, forming a rounded, egg-shaped bloom. The flowers have a creamy orange color, with lighter shades on the outside that deepen towards the center. When in bloom, the flowers emit a fragrance reminiscent of green tea with a hint of fresh lemon, offering a gentle and refreshing scent.
